Yoga Therapy

Varsha was kind to tutor me on “diabetic” remedial yoga sessions.

The sessions were very friendly, engaging at the cognitive, physical and emotional level. They focused on physical wellbeing by not just demonstrating the asanas, but also focused on the techniques using the breathing and the postures. I felt lucky and blessed to get such a teacher who is so convincing and persuasive in imparting the knowledge around the asanas and the pranayama. The combination of the Yoga and Diet resulted in a very soothing and calming state of mind!

Varsha has a great hold on pranayama. Even though I was doing them prior to attending the sessions, her corrections and techniques helped me a great deal in experiencing the outcomes.

Having practiced her lessons, I got inspired to join the YICC course to learn the intricacies/nuances of the asanas and pranayama. My intent is to share the knowledge and the wellbeing with the community around me.

 Thank you Varsha for inspiring me to tread this path.

I've always been a very emotional person. For the past ten years, I've struggled through minor problems...finding my own methods to cope. Covid 19 was the straw that broke the camel's back. Watching the news daily during these tough times was rough mentally, which was only exasperated by having a high-risk husband. Minor issues now felt like I was climbing a mountain instead of a small hill in the past. I realized the first step to conquering a hill and mountain is always the same but the mindset is completely different....this was a big struggle for me. I had no appetite, and lost weight for what seemed like months.

 My friend first introduced me to Smt. Varsha P, and her yoga therapy classes. Her classes helped me control my emotions, create an outlet for my emotion and stress relief that was sustainable over the long haul. She taught me to be more conscious of my body and mind, how it relates to my emotional and mental health. Most importantly, it helped me realize that there's no miracle cure for anything but what's most important is to slowly work towards goals set, which is real progress that will last. I just want to say that I'm grateful for all of her help. Even as i deal with anxiety now, i have processes set in place for me to deal with them in a positive manner instead of going into a spiral. Again, i want to thank Varshaji and the entire SVYASA Family.

Varsha has been a pleasure to work with. She is genuinely concerned for the betterment of the client. She is easily approachable. I found the Mind sound resonance technique she does very relaxing and helped me a lot. I slept deeper.

Yoga Therapy- My experience with my teacher Varsha Pangarkar. 

I feel very fortunate for getting this opportunity. Those 16 sessions were really inspiring and uplifting for me. Varsha is very honest and passionate teacher. Very soft spoken and kind. A true ‘Sadhak’. Her sadhana reflects in her teaching and reaches the heart. Because of these sessions I started doing this practice more regularly., I can’t express enough how I felt after our practices. You have some siddhi that touches the heart. My best part was deep relaxation- DRT Chanting. I could feel tingling vibrations in my head which was very very soothing, I felt the healing happen.

Thank you Varsha for spending so much time on me and teaching me. 🙏🏼

I'm not sure how to thank you enough for helping me out in my bad health days. 

You are very passionate about teaching yoga. You take lots of efforts to understand me and my pain. You have taken extra time to accumulate my body restrictions to do yoga easier way. 

 

I feel Goals are the cause of stress. I need to learn to surrender to Gods decision and to live in the moment without worrying about good and bad. I need to accept that I am not perfect. This yoga therapy helped me a lot. Also your supervisor has helped me to understand why and how my problem started. 

Pranic Energization Technique has helped me in many ways. Earlier Asanas warm ups strengthening exercises helped temporarily. But with Pranic Energization technique, 

PET I have better sleep, its deeper and longer from 10 pm to 4 am.

PET has helped balance my vata Dosha, and my burps have reduced.

PET has reduced my pain in foot and soles. (Usually when I wakes up she has to check how my soles feel when I steps on the ground. Last few days they felt better, less or no pain.)

I thank you both of you again and again for your time and efforts.

I Enjoyed every aspect of the practice throughout the therapy sessions. I maintained a food journal which made me more aware of when and what I ate. I connected with some new asanas that Varsha introduced to me in my yoga therapy sessions, and as I practiced them, I could feel their benefits. 

PET, Vipareeta karni etc actually helped me in many ways. The 3 step Vipareeta karni felt very effective with the A kara Chanting. Whenever I do Vipareeta Karni I feel less bloated and reinvigorated.

Pranic Energisation Technique was something I totally enjoyed doing. The experience was out of this world! It relaxed and rejuvenated me completely and instantly and helped me sleep better at night. I felt energized throughout the day. I really connected with PET and could feel the healing benefits. I have done Pranic healing course so I can feel the energies even more while doing it. 

I have been doing yoga with Varsha For a long time and I connect with her way of teaching totally. Her guiding me -one to one during class helped me immensely and got me more aligned in the asana and eased me back into yoga practice.  I am very thankful to her for that.

Mentally I am feeling more relaxed, happy, energized and rejuvenated. On Physical level my Bloating during my Pre period was reduced this month and my periods were smooth. I guess it will take a little longer to see physical results in terms of my weight management and my fibroid issues. And I am sure that with my continued regular practice, I will be in a better physical state. 

The main goal was always to achieve good health and weight management. Along with the above goals, my aim is to intensify my Yoga practice to gain optimum benefit. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for me and I will always incorporate these therapeutic practices to enhance my physical and mental wellbeing.

I am so pleased with Yoga therapy, my all-over body results are very pleasing.  My focus was on my bladder urge incontinence issue. I have been able to hold my urine longer for example, as soon as I woke up in the morning, I had to go. At times I would start leaking urine as I was walking to the restroom.  When eating, as soon as I would get up from the dinner table, I had to go. As long as I stayed seated and did not move, I was okay. Once I moved, I had to go.  I was using 7 to 8 overnight bladder pads per day. I now use 2 to 4. 

The sessions have helped me lose 6 lbs and have improved my sinus issues, memory, energy, breathing, and sleep. My overall health is better. I wake up now and can get up, take the dog out and then head to the bathroom.  I can eat a meal, get up and not have to run to the restroom. I feel the urge to go and I have time to go at my convenience, not my bladders.  I have about 15 to 20 min. time frame to go. Before, I had an urge and was leaking. It has made a positive improvement in my life.  Thank you is not enough, the sessions have transformed my body.
